Job Description
1. Training Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement annual training and development strategies aligned with the organization’s nursing objectives.
- Conduct training needs assessments across nursing departments to identify skills gaps and opportunities.
- Design competency frameworks for various nursing roles.
2. Program Development & Delivery
- Design, develop, and oversee orientation, onboarding, and continuing education programs for nursing staff.
- Create and deliver training modules on clinical skills, soft skills, leadership, patient safety, infection control, and other critical areas.
- Integrate e-learning, simulation, and blended learning techniques to enhance training outcomes.
3. Compliance & Accreditation
- Ensure nursing training programs meet accreditation standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NABH, JCI, local nursing councils).
- Maintain accurate training records for audits and compliance checks.
4. Performance & Evaluation
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using KPIs, feedback, and assessment results.
- Revise content and methodologies based on performance data and feedback.
5. Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a team of nursing educators, trainers, and clinical instructors.
- Collaborate with Nursing Heads, Clinical Coordinators, HR, and Quality teams to align training efforts with hospital goals.
6. Talent Development
- Identify and mentor high-potential nursing staff for leadership development.
- Support career development and succession planning initiatives within the nursing division.
7. Budget & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage the training department’s budget.
- Oversee procurement and maintenance of training materials, equipment, and technology.
8. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on trends in nursing education, healthcare technologies, and adult learning methodologies.
- Drive innovation in training delivery and content to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualification
Appropriate qualification and statutory nursing registration in the state – BSC Nursing/MSC Nursing .

10-15 years
