Established in 2020 under a public-private partnership between the Medanta Group and the Government of Bihar, Jay Prabha Medanta is the largest private hospital in Patna, spread across a one-million-sq.-ft. campus. It brings affordable, world-class tertiary and quaternary care to over 150 million people in a region with historically limited critical care infrastructure. During FY 2025-26 alone, the hospital added 131 beds and 100+ senior doctors, taking it to 601 operational beds—including 175+ ICU beds and 13 operating theatres — across 29+ super specialities, with clinical milestones spanning cardiac interventions, organ transplants, oncology and neurosciences.
