Dr. Ambuj Kumar is Senior Consultant, Neurosurgery and Neurointervention in Jay Prabha Medanta Super Specialty Hospital, Patna. He completed his MBBS and MS from NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur. He did his MCH from AIIMS, New Delhi and Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Fellowship from Fujita Health University, Nagoya, Japan. He specializes in endoscopic brain surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery, aneurysm clipping and coiling, mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke and complex brain and spine tumour surgeries. He is one of the few dual trained Neurosurgeons (Endovascular Surgery) in India for management of Neurovascular diseases such as Aneurysm, Arteriovenous Fistula (DAVF), etc.

Dr. Kumar has written chapters to numerous neurosurgical textbooks and has published papers in major Indian and international publications.
