He obtained his Diplomate of National Board of Examinations (DNBE) from the National Board (NBE) in 1987. Dr. Pakrasi is credited with pioneering the advanced phacoemulsification techniques in India since 1993, lending to a significant contribution that has advanced the cataract surgery practices in the country. He has a remarkable track record in ophthalmology, particularly in the field of high end, state of the art cataract surgery.
