I/V Canula insertion and venous blood sampling
Arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
Chest Xray & CT chest interpretation
Pleural Aspiration
Intercostal Tube Drainage
Bronchoscopy
Initiation & Monitoring of Non-invasive ventilation
Conducting and interpretation of Sleep Studies
Medical Thoracoscopy
Quality of care
- Patient safety measures
- Infection control
Assessing the need to Change the Lines
Patient evaluation for fresh infections via the parameters and investigations
Antibiotic monitoring.
- Communication skills : Family involvement, discussions, Counseling
Communicating effectively with patients, patient carers and colleagues
