Dr. Shaheen Ahmad is a highly accomplished interventional cardiologist with over 12 years of experience in advanced cardiac interventions. Trained at India’s top medical institutions - AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh, he has expertise in complex coronary procedures, cardiac device therapy, and structural heart interventions. He has previously served as Head of Cardiology at AIIMS Patna, where he established the entire spectrum of cardiology services. Dr. Ahmad has international experience as an interventional cardiologist at Zulekha Hospital, Dubai, a JCI-accredited tertiary care centre. He is proficient in advanced procedures including CHIP (complex high-risk PCI), IVUS, OCT, FFR, iFR, TAVI, device closures, and mechanical circulatory support. He has presented at major global forums including EuroPCR and GulfPCR, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
