He invited Medanta Patna to take the initiative in organizing such training programs across various universities in Bihar. The Governor also remarked that efforts should be made to make CPR training an integral part of the education system in the future, enabling students to save lives during emergencies. The Governor also announced a prize of ₹50,000 for the best CPR awareness reel created by university and college students to engage the youth in the CPR awareness campaign. He placed special emphasis on raising awareness about life-saving skills like CPR through social media.

Dr. Ravi Shankar Singh, Medical Director, Medanta Patna, stated that CPR training has been a key public awareness initiative for Medanta Patna over the past five years. During this period, the hospital has trained over 27,203 people through 305 CPR-related activities across 44 cities and towns in Bihar. He noted that the objective of this initiative is to take CPR beyond the confines of hospitals and into schools, workplaces, institutions, and communities.

He remarked that the Governor's suggestion to promote regular CPR training in educational institutions is a significant step towards expanding the reach of this campaign. Medanta Patna remains committed to collaborating with various institutions in the future to bring this life-saving skill to as many people as possible.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Sinha, Director, Preventive Cardiology, Medanta Patna, stated that the initial few minutes following a cardiac arrest are crucial, and correctly performed CPR during that time can play a vital role in saving lives. Therefore, knowledge of CPR should not be limited to healthcare professionals; the general public, youth, and students should also receive practical training in it.
