Gorakhpur, October 18, 2026: In a significant step toward providing better healthcare services to the people of Gorakhpur and the Purvanchal region, Medanta has launched its Mediclinic facility in Gorakhpur. Residents of the region can now consult expert doctors locally for a wide range of health issues, including serious conditions affecting the heart, cancer, kidneys, liver, brain, and spine. Dr. Rakesh Kapoor, Medical Director at Medanta Lucknow, inaugurated the Mediclinic located at Lotus Tower, Medical Road.

At the Medanta Mediclinic in Gorakhpur, more than 20 specialist doctors will provide consultations across various medical disciplines. The facility will feature experts from departments including Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Liver Transplant, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Spine Surgery, Urology, Internal Medicine, and pediatric super-specialty services.

The objective of this initiative is to ensure that patients in Gorakhpur and surrounding areas have easy access to the right specialists, enabling them to receive timely medical consultations and plan further diagnostic tests and treatment. This will also reduce the need for patients to travel to other cities to seek expert medical advice.
