Dr. Sundeep Kumar is the Associate Director of Surgical Oncology at Jay Prabha Medanta Super Specialty Hospital, Patna, where he heads GI, Gynaecologic, and Head & Neck Oncology. With nearly two decades of rich clinical experience, he has successfully performed over 5000 complex oncosurgical procedures.

As a pioneer in advanced robotic and laparoscopic oncosurgery, Dr. Kumar has been instrumental in introducing several first-of-their-kind minimally invasive robotic cancer procedures to Eastern India.

With extensive experience in advanced robotic and laparoscopic oncosurgery, he is an expert at performing technically demanding cancer resections using minimally invasive as well as open approaches that facilitate precision, faster recovery, reduced postoperative pain, and improved functional outcomes. His core areas of expertise include robotic and minimally invasive colorectal, gastric, pancreatic, and biliary cancer surgeries, along with complex mutidisciplinary oncologic care for the patients.
