Dr. Chandan Kumar Jha is an accomplished Endocrine and Breast Surgeon with over 11 years of experience in managing thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and breast diseases. Trained at India’s prestigious institutions including IMS, BHU, Varanasi and SGPGIMS, Lucknow, he has previously served as Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery (Endocrine Surgery) at AIIMS, Patna.
He has been instrumental in advancing endocrine and breast oncologic surgical care at AIIMS, Patna and across Bihar by pioneering minimally invasive thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal surgeries. He also established oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and totally implantable venous access device (TIVAD) insertion techniques, significantly enhancing the scope and quality of breast cancer treatment in the region.
His academic and clinical career is distinguished by innovative research, teaching, and leadership in endocrine and breast surgery.
