Dr. Deepanker Raj Sehgal

Dr. Deepanker Raj Sehgal is an experienced cardiac anaesthesiologist with expertise in perioperative management of adult and paediatric cardiac surgeries. He specialises in anaesthesia for CABG, valve surgeries, minimally invasive and robotic cardiac procedures, aortic surgeries including Bentall’s procedure, and thoracic and vascular operations. He is proficient in intraoperative Transoesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) for valve repair, structural heart interventions (TAVR, TMVR) and complex cardiac catheterisation procedures.

His clinical practice includes advanced haemodynamic monitoring using arterial, central venous and Swan–Ganz catheters, coagulation monitoring including thromboelastography, and comprehensive postoperative management in the CTVS ICU. He is trained in ECMO support and has managed multiple post-operative patients requiring ECMO in critical care settings.
