Dr. Bhuvana Vijayakanthi is a highly experienced cardiac anaesthesiologist with more than 15 years of expertise in adult and paediatric cardiac anaesthesia and perioperative cardiac critical care. She has extensive experience in managing complex cardiac surgeries including congenital heart disease, ECMO support and heart transplantation. She completed her MBBS from Stanley Medical College, Chennai and MD in Anaesthesiology from SMS Medical College, Jaipur. She further pursued senior residency training in cardiac anaesthesia at AIIMS, New Delhi and undertook specialised training in transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography at Maimonides Medical Center, New York.
