About Dr. Rohit Agarwal
Dr. Rohit Agarwal is an Interventional Radiologist with experience of 8 years in the field of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. His field of expertise is endovascular and non-vascular interventions with a special interest in stroke management, complex image-guided procedures such as image-guided biopsies, ablation for cancers, chemo-embolization and also pre-operative embolization for vascular tumours, vascular disorders such as neurovascular interventions, carotid artery stenting, vascular malformations, peripheral-arterial diseases, blocked AV Fistulas and difficult vascular access via minimally invasive methods. Dr. Agarwal also has expertise in endovascular treatment of aortic diseases, aorto-iliac disease, Thrombectomy for DVT (deep vein thrombosis) & PE (pulmonary embolism), IVC filter placement, minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins, Endovenous Laser/Radio-Frequency Ablation (EVLT), Glue (vena seal) and Sclerotherapy Endovascular treatment (Pinhole surgery), no-stitches surgery for symptomatic uterine fibroids (Uterine Artery Embolization), benign prostatic enlargement (Prostatic Artery Embolization), Varicocele (varicocele embolization).
Additionally, Dr. Rohit also involves in endovascular management of emergency GI bleed (arterial), variceal bleeds (where endoscopic treatment fails), hemoptysis (Bronchial artery embolization) and bleeds post road traffic accidents.
