Dr. Vipin Kumar Sharma is a seasoned consultant in Gastrointestinal Surgery and GI Oncology at Medanta, known for his clinical expertise and patient-centric approach. He completed his postgraduate training in General Surgery G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur, and pursued super-specialisation in Surgical Gastroenterology at the esteemed S.G.P.G.I., Lucknow, where he also briefly served as an Assistant Professor. He went on to establish and head the Department of GI Surgery at U.P.U.M.S., Saifai, significantly contributing to the growth of advanced surgical care in the region. Dr. Sharma’s key areas of expertise include minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic GI surgeries, with a strong focus on gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancers.
