About Dr. Prateek Arora

Dr. Prateek Arora is a Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist with over 10 years of experience in gastrointestinal, hepatopancreatobiliary, colorectal and minimally invasive surgery. He has extensive expertise in managing complex abdominal conditions and has independently performed a wide spectrum of major surgical procedures, including advanced hepatobiliary, upper gastrointestinal, lower gastrointestinal and abdominal wall reconstruction surgeries. He has independently performed complex procedures such as Whipple’s surgery, radical gastrectomy, laparoscopic colorectal resections, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and advanced hernia repairs including eTEP techniques. He further advanced his expertise through specialised fellowship training in colorectal and peritoneal oncology at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester. Here, he gained extensive experience in cytoreductive surgery, HIPEC, advanced pelvic oncology, multivisceral resections and robotic pelvic procedures.
