Plantar Fasciitis: Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition characterized by inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot. It often leads to a sharp, stabbing pain, particularly in the heel area. This condition is frequently seen in runners, those with flat feet, or individuals who are overweight.
Tennis Elbow: Tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis, is a common overuse injury affecting the forearm's extensor tendons, which attach to the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. It can be caused not only by playing tennis but by repetitive activities that strain these tendons. Symptoms include pain and tenderness on the outside of the elbow and weakness in gripping objects.
ACL Tear: An anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear is a common knee injury, often occurring during athletic activities that involve sudden stops, pivots, or jumping. It is a significant injury that affects knee stability and can lead to instability, pain, and swelling. While some individuals can manage an ACL tear with physical therapy, many require surgical reconstruction.
