Dr. Amitava Goswami is an accomplished gastroenterologist and hepatologist with expertise in advanced therapeutic endoscopy, pancreatic disorders, transplant hepatology and luminal gastrointestinal interventions. He has played a pioneering role in introducing living donor liver transplantation, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for pancreatic disorders and advanced pancreatic endotherapy in North East India. Dr. Goswami has published numerous national and international scientific papers and textbook chapters and actively contributes to academic research and professional education.
