Dr. Renu Saxena

Dr. Renu Saxena is a distinguished haematopathologist and academician with over four decades of clinical, academic, and research excellence. She received her MBBS and MD in Pathology from AIIMS, New Delhi, and went on to lead the Hematology Department at AIIMS as Professor and Head. She currently heads the Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram.

Dr. Saxena is globally recognized for her pioneering work in hematological malignancies, molecular hematology, and haemoglobinopathies. Her research has significantly influenced national guidelines on hemophilia, anemia, and leukemia. She has authored over 400 scientific publications, 76 book chapters, and several key hematology monographs.

At Medanta, she leads advanced diagnostic and academic services in haematopathology, while mentoring a new generation of pathologists and clinical researchers.
