His Expertise are in Endosonography, Colonoscopy, Variceal Sclerotherapy, and esophageal Carcinoma. He received the Young Investigator Award by APDW and was awarded the Gold Medal by the Honorable President of India. He Specializes in Endoscopic Ultrasound, diagnostic and therapeutic diseases. An expert in therapeutic EUS learned from Denmark & Japan. This modality started in India in 2005 with a handful of doctors knowing the technique, mainly used in cancer staging and biopsy. A pioneer in this technique in North India has taught and trained a huge number of doctors by conducting 10-15 procedures in a short spell of 2-3 days in conferences cum workshops in different states enlightening more than 100 doctors. Spreading this knowledge to fellow doctors all over India has benefitted patients nationwide for better cancer staging and treatment.
