Dr. Pravin Saxena

Dr. Pravin Saxena is a highly experienced cardiac anaesthesiologist with over 20 years’ expertise in both paediatric and adult cardiac anaesthesia. He is particularly skilled in managing neonatal cases with complex congenital anomalies, and is trained in ultrasound-guided placement of paediatric invasive lines, enhancing safety in critical care. He also has wide experience delivering anaesthesia and deep sedation outside the operating theatre, including in radiology and paediatric interventional cardiology. In adult cardiac care, Dr Saxena specialises in high-risk surgeries such as aortic dissections, thoracoabdominal aneurysms, heart transplants, and perioperative management of LVADs. An alumnus of AIIMS, New Delhi, he previously served as Associate Professor in Cardiac Anaesthesia at its Cardiothoracic Centre. His clinical and academic credentials make him a respected leader in the field.
