Dr. Prajeesh M. Nambiar

Dr. Prajeesh M. Nambiar is a senior cardiac anaesthesiologist and critical care specialist with expertise in perioperative management of complex cardiac surgeries, heart and lung transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support therapies such as Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs), and Centrimag. He has been trained and remained a part of the heart and lung transplantation and mechanical circulatory support programme at KIMS Hospitals, Hyderabad, and has sharpened his experience through an Observership in Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support from  Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, University Health Network (UHN), Toronto, Canada, and MGM Hospitals, Chennai. He is skilled in advanced haemodynamic monitoring and perioperative transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and focused perioperative cardiac critical care. He is an academic mentor as a guide and coguide to  DNB postgraduates in emergency medicine, DrNB cardiac anaesthesia, and DNB anaesthesia. He continues to have an active pursuit in academics with papers and chapters in national and international journals and textbooks.
