Extensive experience in tracheal, bronchial, lung, mediastinal and chest wall surgeries using open, VATS and robotic approaches.
She has significant lung transplant exposure, contributing to pre-operative workup, transplant surgery and post-operative care, and has earned multiple national awards including the ASI Traveling Fellowship.
Dr. Chopra has a strong academic background with publications, book chapters, MRCS (Edinburgh), ATLS instructor certification, and fellowships in Surgical Gastroenterology, Liver Transplantation, Minimal Access and Robotic Surgery.
Dr. Rachita Chopra is a skilled Thoracic Surgeon with specialized training in open, VATS, and robotic thoracic procedures. A DrNB Thoracic Surgery graduate from Medanta, she has performed complex lung resections, tracheobronchial surgeries (including tracheal and bronchial sleeve resections), decortications, and surgeries involving the mediastinum, esophagus, and chest wall.
