Dr. Veenu Kaul has worked in Paras Healthcare as Associate Director & Head, Cardio-thoracic Surgery at Paras Hospital Panchkula from August 2021 to Dec. 2023.
Dr. Veenu Kaul has previously worked as Associate Director and Head of Department of Cardiothoracic surgery at Max Super speciality hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. The hospital has a pre-eminent position as a healthcare provider in northwest Delhi and adjoining state of Haryana. The hospital is accredited by the National Board.
Dr. Kaul has also been associated with Fortis Healthcare and Artemis Healthcare and Primus hospital in the capacity of senior consultant / Head of department of cardio-thoracic surgery in his tenure spanning over two decades as a consultant.
Dr. Kaul has trained in cardiothoracic surgery from Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, University of Mumbai. After completion of his M.Ch and DNB(C/Th.) in 1999 he worked as associate consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New
Delhi before proceeding on an overseas advanced fellowship to Christchurch Public Hospital, Canterbury University, New Zealand for three years. He has had extensive training in beating heart surgery, mitral valve repair, aortic surgeries and radio-ablative surgery for atrial fibrillation.
He was actively involved in the adult as well as paediatric cardiac program at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. His main areas of interest are beating heart surgery for coronary artery disease, total arterial revascularization, mitral valve repair and congenital cardiac surgery. He has presented many papers and attended national and international conferences.
