Dr. Swarnika Srivastava is among India’s pioneering female cardiac surgeons, with expertise in heart and lung transplantation, advanced heart failure surgery, mechanical circulatory support devices (Ventricular Assist Devices and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), and complex cardiac procedures. An alumna of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and GB Pant Hospital, she is ECFMG certified (USA) and has received advanced training in heart transplantation at Toronto General Hospital, Canada. She also completed an observership in cardiac surgery at Miami Valley Hospital, USA. At Medanta, she leads the Advanced Surgical Heart Failure Clinic, combining surgical precision with patient-centric, compassionate care.
