Dr. Shashi Kant Pandey

Dr. Shashikant Pandey is a Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology at the Heart Institute, Medanta, with extensive experience in both non-invasive and interventional cardiology. He holds a DM in Cardiology, MD in Medicine, and MBBS, reflecting a strong academic foundation in cardiovascular medicine.

Dr. Pandey has performed over 1,000 coronary angiographies and percutaneous coronary interventions (PTCA), including IVUS imaging, FFR-guided interventions, and Rotablation. He is a certified IVUS & OCT-guided coronary intervention specialist, bringing precision and advanced imaging expertise to every procedure.

His non-invasive diagnostic skills include 2D and 3D echocardiography, transesophageal echo, pediatric echocardiography, Holter monitoring, ambulatory BP monitoring, and treadmill testing (TMT). His well-rounded clinical capabilities enable him to diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions with accuracy and confidence.

Dr. Pandey is also an award-winning clinician, having secured first prize in the Cardiology Quiz at the ISC Conference in 2017, underscoring his academic excellence and commitment to continuous learning.
