Dr. Amrita Gogia is a Pediatric and Preventive Dentist with over 30 years of hands-on experience in Dentistry. She completed her MDS in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from PGIMER, Chandigarh, in 1991. She is one of the very few specialists in India to be conferred the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain (ABOP). Her clinical expertise includes Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Orofacial Pain, Management of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders(TMD) and Dental Sleep Medicine. She is also trained in Airway Dentistry and provides dental appliance therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Snoring. She has been associated with Medanta since 2013 and has played a key role in establishing the Dental Department across Medanta’s main hospital and Mediclinics in Gurugram and Delhi.
Before joining Medanta, she practiced General and pediatric Dentistry for nearly 20 years at one of the most elite clinics of Dr L.k.Gandhi at South Ex-II, Delhi. She simultaneously taught at various Dental Colleges.
Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry – Expertise in pediatric dental care including fillings, root canal treatment, crowns, extractions, space maintainers, Full mouth rehabilitation under GA, interceptive orthodontics, myofunctional therapy and Airway dentistry.
Orofacial Pain & TMJ Disorders – Conservative and non-surgical management of TMJ disorders including clicking, pain, restricted mouth opening and lock jaw, along with myofascial pain, neuropathic pain, neuralgias and trigeminal neuralgia.
Dental Sleep Medicine & Airway Dentistry – Management of snoring, Obstructive Sleep Apnea and sleep-disordered breathing in children and adults, including dental appliances for sleep apnea and myofunctional therapy.
