01
Arthritis
Arthritis: Arthritis refers to a group of over 100 different joint disorders, characterized by inflammation and pain. Osteoarthritis, the most common form, results from wear and tear on the joints. Rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune condition, is another prevalent type. Management strategies involve medication, physical therapy, lifestyle modifications, and in severe cases, joint replacement surgery.
02
Still's disease
Still's Disease: Still's Disease, also known as Adult-Onset Still's Disease, is a rare autoimmune disorder characterized by high fevers, joint pain, and distinctive rashes. Its exact cause is unclear, and it can affect various organs, leading to complications like pericarditis or hepatitis. Treatment typically involves nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and, in severe cases, immunosuppressants or biologics to manage symptoms and suppress the immune response.
03
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own tissues. Symptoms can range from joint pain, skin rashes, and fatigue to severe organ involvement. Management includes anti-inflammatory medications, corticosteroids, and immunosuppressants. Proper disease management is crucial to prevent flare-ups and complications.
04
Sjogren's Syndrome
It is a condition in which the bones of the body become soft and weak. It usually occurs because of deficiency of Vitamin D or calcium.
