  • How do I get an estimate of my planned medical treatment?

    We have financial counsellors who help with the estimation of cost of your treatment, once the consultation with the doctor has been completed.

  • When do I need to pay my bill?

    • The interim bills need to be paid on a daily basis
    • In case of surgeries, the estimated bill needs to be paid in advance of the procedure
    • The final bill is processed at the time of patient discharge which needs to be paid before the patient is discharged from the hospital
  • What is your billing policy?

    Patient discharge time is 11:00 AM

    A stay upto 8 hours after the discharge time shall be charged as half day room rent

    A stay beyond 8 hours will be considered a full day.

    Refund will be done only through cheques

    Doctor consultation is charged 50 % extra on Sundays , Public Holiday and after 10 : 00 PM

    Consultation will be charged as follows

    # Primary Consultant

    #Secondary/ referral Consultant

    # 2 visits in 24 hours cycle of admission

    # 1 visit in 24 hour cycle of admission

    #Doctor Consultation are charged 50 % extra on Sundays, Public Holdays and After 10:00 PM

    Discharge

    Please note that the discharge process takes 3-4 hours from the time the doctor gives the discharge orders. As soon as the bill is ready, the patient is informed. Final bill should be immediately collected from the cash counter located at the following place in order to clear all the dues at the IPD Billing Counter in the LG floor.

    There may be delay in case a final authorisation is required from the (TPA) or insurance. During this time , whatever additional charges that get added to the final bill will have to be borne by the patient.

  • What is the Medanta Health Card?

    Medanta Health Card is a rechargeable cash card to help facilitate cashless treatment. It can be recharged by loading money/ balance top-up through cash or credit/ debit card at any billing counter in the hospital and can be used to pay for our OPD consultations, diagnostics, health check-ups and in-patient procedures. Unused money on the cash card can be returned/ refunded at any time.
