The aim of Preventive Cardiology is to identify people at high risk of developing cardiac disease. The team is committed to a proactive approach to health to arrest illness and promote wellness. Hypertension Clinic

Heart Failure Clinic

Heart failure is a debilitating syndrome with a mortality rate similar to that of some cancers. It is often misdiagnosed and under-diagnosed and many heart failure patients, who are often elderly, also suffer from other complicating co-morbidities. Heart failure clinic aims to diagnosis and treatment of heart failure for people with heart failure by trained and specialised cardiologists.

    A 256 slice CT scan enables cardiologists to get a 3-D image of the entire heart which permits them to have a closer look at the arteries and the anatomy of the heart in general. The scan offers excellent detail that helps the doctors in treating the disease more effectively

  • Da Vinci Robotic Surgery

    The Da Vinci surgical system is a kind of robotic surgical system designed to facilitate complex surgeries, wherein a surgeon controls it using a console. It’s called the “Da Vinci” surgery because Leonardo Da Vinci’s human anatomy study led to the designing of the first robot in the history of mankind.

  • Gamma Camera

    Gamma camera is a type of imaging technique which is used to carry out functional scans of various parts of the body including the brain, lungs, and the heart, among others. A gamma camera images the radiations and this technique is known as Scintigraphy.

  • Artis-Zeego Endovascular Surgical Cath Lab

    The cath lab is a floor-attached imaging system that provides advanced imaging and helps in treating people with structural heart diseases. The artis zeego is to be contained in only one room, so that any complications arising during the procedure can be handled immediately.

  • Intra-arterial Vasodilatation

    Vasodilation is a process of opening or dilating blood vessels with the help of medicines. As a result, the blood flows more easily through your vessels and prevents any occurrence of a chronic condition related to your heart. This treatments is used for conditions like high blood pressure and heart failure.

  • EECP

    Enhanced external counter pulsation, is a non- invasive, non- pharmaceutical treatment aimed at relieving patients form persistent angina. The EECP compresses the blood vessels in the lower limbs to increase the blood flow to your heart. EECP may encourage blood vessels to open small channels that become extra branches. These channels may eventually become natural bypass to provide blood flow to heart muscle. It is used to treat conditions like chronic angina.
