    Medanta joins Vattikutti Foundation USA, to launch India's first multi specialty multi- modality Institute, The Medanta Vattikutti Institute of Robotic Surgeries. This institute will initially cover Cardiac, Urology & Gynaecology Surgeries.

    Medanta Vattikutti Institute will practice state of art multispecialty robotic surgery under one roof and will be the hub of creation and dissemination of knowledge through its collaborative network and extensive training programs.

    Medanta- the Medicity has state of the art operation theaters with the latest high tech robotics equipment. The Institute has acquired the Da Vinci Si four arm surgical robotic system for various robotic surgical procedures. The advantages of robotic surgery are 10-12 fold magnification of the surgical field, 3D vision precision due to seven degrees of freedom of movement of robotic instruments, motion scaling and filtering hand movements of the surgeon. Thus, the surgical robot facilitates advanced surgical and reconstructive procedures with greater precision and accuracy.
