Dr Ajaya Nand Jha is an Indian national and a renowned Neurosurgeon. He graduated from Armed Forces Medical College, University of Pune, India and subsequently did his M.S. (Surgery) from Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi. Thereafter he went on to get his F.R.C.S and F.R.C.S. (Surgical Neurology) from Edinburgh, UK. He practiced Neurosurgery at Hope Hospital, Salford Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, UK and Manchester Royal Infirmary before returning to India. In India,he has held various prestigious appointments such as Head of Neurosurgery (P.D Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai), as Sr. Consultant Neurosurgeon (Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi) and as Director, Max Institute of Neurosciences, New Delhi.
